Senior Prizegiving 2025 On the evening of Thursday, 30th October, our Kura's premier event — the Senior Prizegiving — was held to honour and celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of our senior ākonga. The hall was filled with students, staff, friends, and whānau who gathered to recognise and applaud the success of our prizewinners. Awards for top academic achievement across NCEA Levels 1–3 were presented, followed by a range of special recognition awards across various curriculum areas. Scholarships were also announced before the presentation of our most prestigious premier awards. Entertainment throughout the evening included musical medleys by Revival, our Premier Band, a stunning dance performance by the AO Elite Dance Crew, and lastly a lively Ngā Manu Aorere performance that delighted our audience. The night concluded with the announcement of our top academic achievers — an exciting finale to a memorable celebration: Anh Thu Quach Tran and Sonthoshi Kumaran – Year 11 Duxes

We express our gratitude for his leadership and contribution as he leaves behind a legacy of integrity and manaakitanga. The evening was filled with pride, joy, and celebration. Every accomplishment was warmly acknowledged, and heartfelt congratulations go to all our award recipients. This event remains a highlight of our Kura's year — you can relive the entire celebration, including the performances, on our YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzhZxJdy7-A A huge ngā mihi nui to the organisers for delivering such a well-run and uplifting event.
