Senior Sports Awards 

It was a day of celebration last Friday at the Aorere College Senior Sports Awards Ceremony 2025! 

We were excited celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students in their chosen sporting fields. A huge thank you to all whānau whose unwavering support and dedication make this possible. 

A huge ngā mihi nui goes to our passionate coaches, managers, volunteers, students, and senior leadership team, as your commitment has ensured our sports programme thrives.  

Sports at Aorere is more than just competition — it's about building skills, values, and inspiring the next generation of champions. We hope the days celebrations will ignite even more passion in our Year 11 and 12 students. 

After all award recipients were announced, excitment built and finally our outstanding best all-round athletes for the year were revealed, they are:

Victrix Ludorum - Makerita Gordon
